Happy Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year. Ever since Kylie was little she would say at very random times, "I want to be a rock star!" So this year I thought it would be really fun if I could put together a "rock star" costume. She loved the idea and we had a good time putting it all together. I lucked out big time and found the perfect skirt for her at D.I. for only $1 and her shirt at Target. Her sneakers and everything else we already had. We went simple on Jase and found him some skeleton pajamas and a beanie.
The festivities started on Friday with Kylie's Preschool Halloween party.

I braided her hair in little braids that morning so she would have cool rock star hair for her party.

Everything came together really cute and she looked awesome!

This is what she came home with. Odviously we were already on candy overload and she hadn't even been trick-or-treating yet.

Saturday we dressed up all over again and headed out for more.

Kylie got the hang of this trick-or-treating thing and as long as there weren't any "mean wolves" around she was having a blast. She would always make sure everyone knew she was a rock star at the door and told everyone, "Happy Halloween" after they gave her candy. You can see in one of those pictures she was on a dead run to the next house. Jase was pretty content to just hang out in his stroller. He loved seeing all the kids and every once in awhile someone would throw him a candy or two.

This is the loot by the end of the night. They were both pretty pleased by their accomplishments and I thought it was really fun being out with them watching them getting excited and being amongst our ward members. It was a super fun night!!
